In September 2024, the owner, Eddie, discovered his first escape room, and it changed everything. After years of chasing great puzzles, memorable hosts, and those rare rooms that feel like stepping into another world, he decided it was time to join the industry from the other side of the door.

Portals of Paradox began after taking over Locked In Escape Rooms in July 2025 and reimagining it as a more cinematic escape room destination for Middleburg, FL.
While Locked In Escape Rooms has been serving Middleburg since 2017, the goal is simple: keep the warmth of a local business, raise the atmosphere, and make every group feel like they’ve crossed into a story built just for them.
