In September 2024, the owner discovered their first escape room, and it changed everything. After years of chasing great puzzles, memorable hosts, and those rare rooms that feel like stepping into another world, they decided it was time to join the industry from the other side of the door.
Portals of Paradox began after taking over Locked In and reimagining it as a darker, more cinematic escape room destination for Middleburg. The goal is simple: keep the warmth of a local business, raise the atmosphere, and make every group feel like they’ve crossed into a story built just for them.
